This bridge built in 1880 was by passed in 1965 by the new bridge that crosses Fort River. It is a lenticular pony truss bridge, built by Corrugated Metal Co of East Berlin, Ct also known as the Berlin Iron Bridge Company. Today it is used as a pedestrian bridge.
