"Le comité des fêtes de Chissay-en-Touraine organise sa 13e édition de la fête du jambon à l'os les 10 et 11 juin. Des animations pendant deux jours avec des points forts comme le dîner spectacle d'aujourd'hui qui sera animé par le ventriloque Francky et son personnage Barnabé, suivi du feu d'artifice et du bal.
Dimanche, une randonnée pédestre prendra le départ à 9?h et un concours de belote sera organisé l'après-midi, « ce sont les deux nouveautés de cette édition », annonce Laure Bourdais, présidente du comité des fêtes. Une brocante-vide-greniers s'installera dès 6?h et en partenariat avec La Nouvelle République cent journaux seront offerts aux exposants. Autour de ces manifestations, la fête foraine, le déballage de forains avec un marché du terroir et, bien sûr, le célèbre jambon à l'os au menu du samedi soir et du dimanche midi."
