The Noah Webster House was built around 1700 and was the birthplace of Noah. It is a simple frame house with a gable end roof. Exterior is clapboard with an added chimney that was used in the kitchen. The house underwent extensive restoration in 1968 and serves as the West Hartford Historical Society headquarters and is open as a museum.
