This website (visit link) has an additional photo and informs us:

"Previously known as Chinaman Spring, Chinese Spring is apparently named on account of its early use by Chinese labourers as a laundry. It erupts very occasionally to a height of up to 20 feet, but for most of the time is a permanently boiling pool. The vent is about 2 feet in diameter and 10 feet deep, surrounded by a near-circular sinter rim several inches tall. The Firehole River flows past a short distance north."
