The Laos town of Luang Prabang is replete with colonial French architecture. This building is one example. No sign of its original function, but it is now the local police HQ. Indicative of the lack of public crime, a quiet and sleepy place. The date is on the pediment, at the rear of the building, but it is clearly visible from the main street. The building is joined by a short wall to a neighbouring building that dates to this year, but the two are clearly separate.
