The parish church in the Perthshire town of Alyth was built between 1836-39 to a design by Edinburgh architect Thomas Hamilton. It is mainly gothic with romanesque influences in red sandstone.

Its steeple is clearly the highest structure in the town and is situated on the west side of the church. The church itself is on the north side of the town on high ground at the foot of the Hill of Alyth.
