The clock on St Nicholas Church (Grade 2*) is in an unusual position on the south-west corner of the 14th-century tower, making it visible from the High Street.

The clock's outer ring is actually twelve sided rater than circular. The minute indicators and the Roma numeral hours are mounted on a ring with a hollow centre, the hands are mounted on a central plate behind the ring. The hands etc are gold coloured but looking somewhat weathered.
