This hot spring lies ~40 kilometres east of the pleasant northern Thai city of Chiang Mai. Entry is 100 bath (~$3us) for non-Thais. It is a popular spot for locals and tourists. The area itself contains many things to do and see, gardens, restaurants, picnic area, cafe, a pool, and there is a camping area for those that enjoy nature.
The hot spring is two main geysers, streams of hot water into which people can place their feet (if they have a mind to).
The surrounding area also has other sites worthy of a visa, climb a mountain, enter a cave, and so forth. A full day.
