In North Kingstown, within Veterans Memorial Park, is this multi-war monument for those residents who served in one of several wars.
Veterans Memorial Park is located along Boston Neck Road, about a quarter mile southeast of an arch bridge in the village of Wickford, on the right.
The memorial is along a sidewalk within the park. It is a tall stone stab about 7 ft tall. It is flanked by evergreen bushes. Etched on the top is the following:
"Dedicated to those who gave their lives in the service of their country"
Above this is an elaborate etching of an eagle with spread wings.
Below are names etched, grouped by three headings which are the following:
