The main building of the Fitzroy Harbour Public School dates from 1919. The first building for Fitzroy township school section #8 was open in 1832. A two-room brick school house was built in 1873. The school on site in 2017 was originally a three-room school but many additions were built. The school closed in 1988. Take care on the property as playground structures etc have not been maintained.
