Built in 1838, a Greek Revival building from plans submitted by E. Lamb of Princeton. The first Town Meeting was held in the fall of 1839. It also housed a school from 1839 - 1841 for students of Barre. In 1852 the first session of Barre High School was held here until the Henry Woods HS could be completed. In the 1960's a Paul Revere Bell, recast in 1814 that formerly hung in the First Parish Church was placed in the cupola.
