The Doraville Schoolhouse was used for 110 years as a school. It then became a community clubhouse and polling place. It was moved in 1993 and restored.

A committee restored it, moved it 3 1/2 miles to behind the Colesville Town Hall.
Over 1800 hours were spent restoring it to mid-1800s. No taxpayer money was used. The Preservation Society of the Southern Tier gave an award for authentic restoration.
Programs are presented and over a thousand visitors have seen it.
