The upper part refers to the county of Froburg in the Middle Ages, the lower part symbolizes the water richness of the municipality. I could not find any more detailed information about its history.
I found the flag together with those of Switzerland and the Canton of Basel-Landschaft at a hotel at the central village square.

Der obere Teil verweist auf die Zugehörigkeit zur Herrschaft Froburg im Mittelalter, der untere Teil symbolisiert den Wasserreichtum der Gemeinde. Genauere Angaben zu seiner Geschichte konnte ich nicht herausfinden.
Ich fand die Flagge zusammen mit denen der Schweiz und des Kantons Basel-Landschaft an einem Hotel am zentralen Dorfplatz.
