This small fairy door and fairy church adds a bit of whimsy to this replica of the first structure to serve the Czech-immigrant Catholic faithful of Our Lady Queen of the Rosary Catholic Church, which was built in 1856.
The replica and the fairy door is located behind the church near the father-and-son Civil war memorials and the monument to Fr. Miguel Muldoon.
The area of central and south Texas still has a very strong Czech cultural identity. This area is known as the "Czech Belt" for a reason!
