This yellow warning sign proclaiming Stockdog Xing is situated on a minor road near Mid Derry Farm in the lower part of Glen Isla near the border of Angus and Perthshire.
As can be seen from the sign above the area is extensive in sheep farming.
The road leads from the hamlet of Kilry, eventually heading over hilly moorland, before dropping back into the glen some six miles further north. The sign is not far from the Cateran Trail walking route, a circular trail that takes in the hills and glens of Perthshire and Angus.
