Helen Mary Hamerla was born on 9 June 1911 in Bartlesville. She married Carl Edward Daniels (1902-1983), who was 9 years her senior, on 15 April 1928 in Nowata, Oklahoma. Helen worked at Woolaroc Ranch for over 20 years.

Carl passed away when Helen was about 72 years old. Helen eventually moved to Florida to be near their only child, a son also named Carl. She passed away on 20 December 2011, having reached 100 years old a half a year earlier. At the time of this waymark posting, her grave marker (6 years later) had still not been updated with her date of death.
