The building was constructed in 1897 in the Federation Free Classical style for 'Strelitz Brothers' Merchants and Shipping Agents of Fremantle and Kalgoorlie.
On the ground floor there is a door that leads to the upstairs accomdation and on the other end is a vehicle entry to the warehouse.
Today the ground floor is a bookshop and on the first floor a residence.
