 Hymmen ist der Name einer rheinischen Familie, die im Jahr 1550 urkundlich erstmals erwähnt wird. Das Wappen befindet sich über dem Eingang des Haupthauses der Endenicher Burg, die heute im Besitz der Stadt Bonn ist und hier eine Zweigstelle der Stadtbücherei Bonn betreibt.
 Hymmen is the name of a Rhineland family, which was mentioned for the first time in 1550. The coat of arms is located above the entrance to the manor house of Endenich Castle, which today is owned by the city of Bonn (the city operates an municipal library).
