The north channel is bridged by a small steel truss bridge while the south channel is bridged by this, a much smaller concrete and steel girder bridge. Both installed at the same time, both have "1952" dates stamped in their right hand concrete end posts. The two bridges are known by their numbers, this being the Kicking Horse River No. 2 Bridge. Given their age, it's not surprising that the end posts have sustained a bit of damage from wayward automobiles.
