Obituary: Margaret Ann Watts Herring of Elsberry, MO was born February 28, 1922 and passed away May 9, 2014 at the age of 92. In lieu of funeral services or flowers, memorials may be made to the Joseph R. Palmer Family Memorial Library (or) The Elsberry Historical Society in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 S. 5th Street; Elsberry, MO 63343.
"For so many years, The Elsberry Democrat and Margaret Ann (Watts) Herring, went hand-in-hand. They were made for each other. If you needed some Elsberry history, she was only a phone call away.
"At 92, MAW, as she was known by many passed away. Per her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.
