Dieses Haus hängt als Kunstobjekt im Wald von Darmstadt *** This artistic house is placed in the forest of Darmstadt - three meter up into the air. It si called "Castle in the Air" and its wooden parts move with the wind.

Hier im Wald von Darmstadt, zwischen Böllenfalltor und Ludwigshöhe, vorbei an Goethefelsen, Goetheteich und Ludwigshöhturm, gibt es den Internationalen Waldkunstpfad. Seit 2002 veranstaltet das Internationale Waldkunstzentrum Darmstadt, in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Forstamt Darmstadt alle zwei Jahre das Symposium "Internationaler Waldkunstpfad". Künstler aus verschiedenen Ländern zeigen ihre Kunstwerke. (

Das Luftschloss wurde 2012 von Anne Berlit (
visit link) erschaffen. Das Thema damals war „Realität und Romantik“. Das Holzhaus hängt in einer Höhe von drei Metern über dem Boden zwischen Bäumen. (

At the beginning of this forest starts the "International Forest Art Path". You can walk for about three kilometer (two miles) along wooden art. Since 2002 artists from different countries are invited every two years to shows the artistic work. Some of the art remains in the forest.
This wooden house, called "Luftschloss" = daydream or castle in the air, was created in 2012 by Anne Berlit. The house is three meter up between trees.
