Michael Lockwood was a native of California. Growing up in Pacifica, California he developed an interest in Professional Wrestling while in high school. Upon graduating from high school, he began performing as Johnny Pearson for the Bay Area Wrestling Organization. After wrestling on the independent circuit for several years he signed to perform for the ECW and eventually with the WWE. His first match for the WWE as “Crash Holly” occurred in August 1999. Lockwood continued to perform for the WWE until he was released in early 2003. He then signed on with the NWA, wrestling under the name of Mad Mikey. He continued to perform for the NWA until his death in November 2003. Michael “Crash Holly” Lockwood is buried in the West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove, North Carolina

Michael John Lockwood was born on August 25, 1971 in Anaheim, California During his youth he lived and attended school in Pacifica and developed an interest in Professional wrestling at an early age. He began his wrestling career in 1989, wrestling as Johnny Pearson for Bay Area Wrestling. He continued to wrestle for Bay Area and other independent promotions until 1996 when he caught the of Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) booker Taz who referred Lockwood to ECW owner Paul Heyman. While wrestling for ECW he captured the attention of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) who hired Lockwood and sent him to Mexico to learn the Lucha Libre style and further develop his persona. Lockwood made his debut as “Crash Holly” for the WWE in August 1999 and perform for the WWE until he was released in June 2003. After being released by the WWE, Lockwood signed on with the NWA Total Non-Stop Action and performed under the name of Mad Mickey. On November 6, 2003, Lockwood was found dead from a drug overdose at the home of his friend and fellow wrestler’s Stevie Richards. He is buried in West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove, North Carolina.
