The Collinsville train depot is located at 10th Street and Center, and once housed a museum. It appears to be vacant at this time. To the south of the depot stands the Rock Island 17685 caboose.
An online photo from 2011 shows the caboose unmarked and in need of refurbishing, however, today in April 2017, the caboose has a fresh coat of red paint, and is marked Rock Island 17685.
This is a standard cupola caboose and exterior access is available 24/7.
