This is the fourth annual balloon festival in Pahrump. This year there were about 30 balloonists participating, the largest yet. Weather on the 24 February 2017 weekend was ideal, with clear skies and gentle breezes.
The event was sponsored by the Balloon Federation of America. It was their first sanctioned event of the year.
Launch site is Petrack Park, located at 150 N Hwy 160, Pahrump, NV
The dates for the 2018 event haven't been announced yet.
