This memorial is located in the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park in Buffalo, New York. The monument is has statues of two figures over looking a grave of a fallen soldier. The first tier of the monument has the text:
"IN GRATITUDE TO ALL WESTERN NEW YORK HISPANIC AMERICAN VETERANS FOR THEIR SERVICE"
The 2nd tier has the flags of Hispanic countries and regions including Mexico, Spain, the Dominican Republic, Cuba and Puerto Rico.
Surrounding the monument is a series of engraved bricks dedicated to individual Hispanic soldiers.
A tablet in the ground states the Ground Breaking was on November 11, 2011. The statue was erected June 4, 2013 and Dedicated on June 14, 2013.
