Gertrude Foreman was born on 19 November 1872. She is buried at the large stone for both her and her husband, but without a separate stone for her. She married William Robert Bass (1872-1912) on 30 September 1897 when she was 24 years old.

They had 2 sons. William passed away when they both were about 39 years old. Gertrude continued on another 63 years, passing away on 11 August 1975, three months short of 103 years old. The "stone" mentioned in her biography may have been a foot stone that was removed or destroyed at some time.
