Winnifred "Winnie" Maurine McCausland was born on 26 November 1912. She married Myrl James Wiles (1911-1998) on 6 April 1935 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, when Winnie was 22 years old.

Sergeant Myrl (World War II) died when Winnie was 85 years old. Winnie continued on another 15 years, passing away on 30 November 2013, just 4 days after celebrating 101 years old. At the time of this waymark posting, over 4 years after Winnie passed away, her grave marker had not been updated with the date of her passing.
