This two-lane concrete bridge is about 60 metres long, and has a right-angle 'dog leg' on the southern side at the entry to Kendall.

There are two Dated Plaques on the Camden Haven River bridge, with one as mentioned below, on the southern end (eastern side), which is closer to a safe place to park. A 'telephoto' may be required to avoid being in the traffic, as there is no footpath on that side.
The other (identical one) is on the northern end (western side) on the buttress next to the footpath: S31° 37.921' E152° 42.589'. The bridge was opened by P.H. Morton on 28 February, 1969.

As the bridge is considerably higher than the road approaches I would doubt that the deck of the bridge would be flooded over, tho it could certainly blocked rising waters.

The concrete deck of the bridge is cast as one piece, with the six 'I' beams that span between the two concrete pylons that are bedded into the Camden Haven River. A 30 cm water pipe is held beneath the bridge to supply the community on the other side of the bridge. This is below the pedestrian walkway of the bridge, on the western side.

Upstream is the truss constructed railway bridge for the main northern line.
