The Sovereign Military Order of Malta was once known as the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem. The Order of Malta maintains bilateral relations with most countries, including
Canada. The offices of the
Canadian Association are located in the Ottawa diocesan centre at 1247 Kilborn Place.
The posted co-ordinates are for the Order of Malta signage at the diocesan centre. Expect to be greeted by security on site. I explained to security that I was photographing the sign as part of a scavenger hunt. After my explanation, security seemed more interested in the Order of Malta rather than waymarking.
