In der Bundesrepublik öffnete die erste Filiale Ende 1971 in München ihre Türen. In der bayerischen Hauptstadt befindet sich bis heute die deutsche Zentrale. Dort finden nicht nur die Mitarbeiter-Schulungen statt, hier werden auch alle Neuheiten ausprobiert, es ist immer der modernste McDonalds, quasi das Vorzeigeobjekt Nr. 1.
