This was, and is again, a family cemetery. The change was during 1838 when the Cherokees were forced here, and camped here, and died here. Those who died remain here, as when they were driven on, this site became a family cemetery again.

Listed on Find-A-Grave as just Field Cemetery, but marker at the entrance says Field Trovillion Cemetery
