Main building and memorial library significant for their architectural merit. Tree in the grounds significant because of their historical associations (planted by visiting royalty).
Victorian Gothic Revival styled two storey brick structure with sandstone dressings and a slate roof, high set narrow Gothic windows are not ideal for Brisbane's climate. War Memorial Library: an isolated pavilion of brick construction with sandstone trimmings and a conical roof. Trees: a number of trees of various species have been planted in the school grounds by visiting royalty and public notaries.
