Artist & Composer: Trimpin
This sculpture is composed of nearly 700 instruments. Forty are custom-made, computer-controlled self-playing guitars, which perform a series of Trimpin's compositions expressive of the roots of American popular music (jaz, blues, country, folk and rock).

Fabrication of Structure: Pacific Studio, Seattle
Fabrication of Custom Instruments: Troy Swanson
Computer kiosk: Wirestones, Seattle
The majority of instruments were generously donated by Guitar Center, USA, with supplemental contributions by Washburn Guitars, Fender Musical Instruments Corporation and private individuals.
