The Inn is classified by The National Trust and is one of the oldest hotels in Australia. The Settlers Arms Inn is built from convict-hewn sandstone in Georgian-style architecture. It nestles alongside the Macdonald River within the tiny village of St. Albans, the heart of the Macdonald Valley, in New South Wales and is not only popular with day trippers but provides Accommodation comprising four doubles, all with ensuite.

Today's travellers will notice more modern amenities these days, Australian Country-style cuisine is available seven days a week. Outdoor activities may involve tennis at the courts across the way, swimming and relaxing in their 12 metre saltwater pool, bike-riding, and golf at Wisemans Ferry. They might just enjoy ambling along a country road, perhaps going back in time and exploring the history along the old Convict Road.
