A rusty old anchor is on display in the corner of an office building in the north of Therwil that also houses the police station.

The building is quite new, I guess from the year 2014 (in any case, the police office opened then). The anchor is about 1.5 meters high. There is no information about this anchor, none of the companies in this building has any relation to shipping. It is probably purely a decoration object without any specific connection.
DE: Ein Anker steht als Dekoration vor dem Bürogebäude in der Gewerbezone im Norden von Therwil, wo sich auch der Polizeiposten befindet.
Das Gebäude ist relativ neu, ich schätze Baujahr 2014 (jedenfalls wurde dann der Polizeiposten eröffnet). Der Anker ist rund 1.5 Meter hoch. Es gibt keinerlei Informationen zu diesem Anker, auch hat keine der Firmen in diesen Gebäude irgend einen Bezug zur Schifffahrt. Es ist vermutlich ein reines Dekorationsobjekt ohne konkreten Hintergrund.
