LEGACY: The international head office for Music for Young Children was in Kanata, Ontario, at 39 Leacock Way. The organization began in the early 1980s in Nova Scotia and there are now affiliates around the world. Viewing from left to right, the flags atop this building represent Music for Young Children in other countries: Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Canada, United States and Vietnam. The flag for Music for Young Children also flies.
