We couldn't resist taking some pix of this store, in particular its signs.

The store's three major products seem to be Milk, Farm Fresh Eggs and Pig Food. These are the only items mentioned on the signs on the front of the building. This seems to indicate that swine raising is a major industry in the town. We failed to notice herds of them running amok, terrorizing the villagers, though. Other than that, the store is a typical little small town store, with a very typical range of foodstuffs (with the exception of that pig food). Nothing really out of the ordinary here, except for the "Discount Prices" sign, also to be found on the front of the store. We can't say one way or another whether such is the case.

The name, Little Bitterroot, incidentally, comes not from the fact that they are purveyors of small, acrid rutabagas, but from the Little Bitterroot River and/or Little Bitterroot Lake of northwestern Montana, both named for the wildflower of the same name—Montana’s state flower.

Initially one might think that the entire building is the Corner Store. Closer examination of all the signs on the front reveals that this is a mall with the store sharing space with an auto parts store, an embroidery shop and a salon. Well located, the store and the mall are in the centre of town on Lynch Street which, here, serves as Main Street.
