Dieses kleine Haus am Stadtplatz 41 in Klosterneuburg ist glücklicherweise in sehr gutem Zustand. Im Torbogen sind die Initialen "PPW" und die Zahl "1735" eingraviert. Recherchen haben ergeben, dass in den 30er Jahren eine Marie Wilcek hier eine Konditorei führte. Auch ein Bild im Österreichischen Bildarchiv zeigt, dass hier im Jahr 1905 eine "Conditorei" untergebracht war. Es könnte also durchaus sein, dass das "W" in den Initialen "PPW" für Wilcek steht, aber Beweise dafür gibt es nicht.

This small house on Stadtplatz 41 in Klosterneuburg is fortunately in very good condition. The initials "PPW" and the number "1735" are engraved in the archway. Research has shown that a Marie Wilcek had a confectionery in the 1930s. A picture in the Austrian Picture Archives shows that a "Conditorei" was situated here in 1905. It might well be that the "W" in the initials "PPW" stands for Wilcek, but there is no evidence.
