The winged hourglass is held by a figure that is supposed to be Father Time. Father Time is a beard and wings. He's holding the hourglass with one hand and a syth in the other. He's sitting on a block. The sculpture is located on a wall behind a memorial to the Laurel Hill cemetery (formerly of San Francisco).
