This old Bartlesville Fire Department building was donated to the Parks Department by the Home Savings & Loan Association of Bartlesville in 1976. I am guessing that it was moved from its original location to where it is now -- at Sooner Park. The symbol of crossed axes is quite worn and sun bleached, but still visible.
I am not sure if this building is still used as a fire house for the park, since it is listed as a fire house in the Sooner Park map; or whether it is just for show and storage. It is not one of the 4 stations listed in the fire departments web site (link below). In any case, it was once an active fire house; probably back in the horse and steam days.
