[DE] "Diese Wandertour ist als Rundwanderweg konzipiert und beginnt am Alten Rathaus in Rhens. Von dort aus geht es durch das Viehtor der mittelalterlichen Stadtmauer über einen ansteigenden Weg zum Rheinplateau. Hier lohnt sich ein kurzer Abstecher zum Königsstuhl, einem Monument aus Basaltsteinen, wo die Könige des Mittelalters ihren Treueid leisteten. Ein herrlicher Panoramablick auf den Rhein von der Marksburg bis zur Festung Ehrenbreitstein lädt zum Verweilen ein. Über einen Wiesenpfad und enge Serpentinen geht es hinauf zum Aussichtspunkt "Lützelforst".
Vorbei am jüdischen Friedhof führt der Weg entspannt durch eine offene Streuobstlandschaft zum St. Antonius Heiligen Häuschen. Von hier steigt dieser Rhein Wanderweg durch einen Mischwald auf die nächste Anhöhe und windet sich von dort abwärts ins Obere Mühlental. Nach einem kurzen steilen Anstieg wird die Rheinhöhe Kriesenkopf erreicht. Die spektakuläre Aussicht auf Hunsrück und Taunus entschädigt für die Mühen. Jetzt geht es abwärts durch den Wald zu dem Hohlweg "Wolfsdelle", der von alten knochigen Bäumen gesäumt wird, und weiter ins untere Mühlental.
Die Nikolauskapelle am Wegesrand erinnert an eine alte Fischersiedlung. Über einen schmalen Pfad entlang des Mühlenbaches geht es zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Ein toller Tagesausflug für alle, die am Rhein Wanderurlaub machen."

[EN] "This hiking tour is designed as a circular hiking trail and starts at the old town hall in Rhens, from there you walk through the Vacheor of the medieval town wall over an ascending path to the Rhine plateau." A short detour to the royal chair, a monument of basalt stones where the kings Of the Middle Ages, a magnificent panorama view of the Rhine from the Marksburg to the fortress Ehrenbreitstein invites you to linger over a meadows and narrow serpentines up to the viewpoint "Lützelforst".
Past the Jewish cemetery, the path leads through an open orchid landscape to St. Anthony's sacred house. From here, this Rhine hiking trail climbs through a mixed forest to the next hill and winds from there downwards to the Upper Mühlental. After a short steep ascent, the river Rhine reaches Kriesenkopf. The spectacular view of Hunsrück and Taunus compensates for the troubles. Now we descend through the forest to the hollow path "Wolfsdelle", which is lined with old bony trees, and further down the valley of the Mühl.
The Nikolauskapelle on the edge of the road is reminiscent of an old fishing village. After a narrow path along the Mühlenbach, it goes back to the starting point. A great day trip for all those who make hiking on the Rhine. "
