Though not terribly large, this park is without question
the place to be for the younger crowd in the heat of the summer months. Offering a mix of spray and other water features, it can keep the kids cool for hours on end. In the park are a number of the standard nozzles and structures, each of which can effectively get the kids good and wet.
Nearby in the park is a well appointed playground to keep the kids busy for even longer.
A project of the local Kinsmen Club, the park has been a hit with families having younger children since its opening, an untold number of years ago. The spray facilities are available from May through September, 9:30 AM to 7 PM. Though it is advertised as being "open" May through September, we suspect that the playground and the picnic tables are available for use year round, weather permitting. Restrooms are available in the parking lot.
Kinsmen Spray Park
Welcome to Kinsmen Playground. This family park is, without question, one of the highest use parks in Oliver. A fully equipped playground for young children is just one of the main attractions. It is also home to Oliver’s waterpark which is one of the busiest fun spots in the area.
Kids of all ages can and do play for hours on end under the various water features. Public washrooms are available. It is a very popular location for birthday parties. Kinsmen Playground is located along the west side of the Okanagan River on 350th Avenue and is a short walk from downtown.
