His grave is showing its age with the cast iron fence derelict & his inscription barely readable. The broken column has a Masonic symbol at its centre. This is a pioneer cemetery & is now closed but well maintained by council. The McCrossin family were well known in the district as they owned & operated a foundry which still stands today.
Headstone/Monument Text:
(Top section unreadable) John McCrossin who died March 30th 1888 aged 31 years.
