This hand-cranked tall butter churn made from clay pottery is located in the tiny kitchen of the Shotgun House. The blue number 4 on its side means that this churn will hold 4 gallons of milk.
The churn dates from before 1910, because that is the cut-off year for the Dallas Heritage Village. Nothing that is of a newer vintage than 1910 is on display at the museum.
This churn is located inside the Shotgun House at Dallas Heritage Village.
