 Hôtel à insectes aux couleurs des emblèmes de la cité des Ménétriers, créé en 2014 par des bénévoles de SNA (Sentinelle Nature Alsace)
Le gîte a trouvé un emplacement parfait à l’entrée du Jardin de Ville, au carrefour principal, au milieu de la jachère fleurie plantée par les services techniques. Il a été inauguré en présence du député-maire Jean-Louis Christ, Gilles Oehler, responsable environnement, des conseillers municipaux Joseph Pfeiffer, George Wiezwerzack.
Cet hôtel permet de sensibiliser en particulier les enfants sur l’importance de l’écosystème et la chaîne alimentaire qui débute dans le monde des insectes. Ce sont des bénévoles de SNA, en particulier Jérôme Renaud, Georges Le Den et Anthony Lombard qui ont réalisé cette construction.

The cottage has found a perfect location at the entrance to the Jardin de Ville, at the main crossroads, in the middle of the flowered fallow planted by technical services. It was inaugurated in the presence of deputy mayor Jean-Louis Christ, Gilles Oehler, environment manager, city councilors Joseph Pfeiffer, George Wiezwerzack.
This hotel makes it possible to raise children's awareness of the importance of the ecosystem and the food chain that begins in the world of insects. They are volunteers of SNA, in particular Jérôme Renaud, Georges Le Den and Anthony Lombard who realized this construction.
