This memorial bench is located on the grass at the edge of the village green facing the oak tree in the middle of the green.

A plaque on the bench reads:-
This bench was donated by friends of
Maer, Chorlton and Blackbrook
and Heritage Lottery Fund.
In Memory of all local people
who served this country
during WW1 & other
conflicts.
