The 2010 US Tanker holds 3000 gallon with 500 gpm pump. With two 3500 gallon drop tanks, the tanker can drop a load of water then return to a water source to refill, returning to the scene to fill drop tanks.
At the water source up to 4 sections of hard sleeve hose with low-level strainers can refill tank from standing water sources or streams. At hydrants, the tanker has two 4" fill lines with Firemen's Friend valves. To evacuate the tanker into drop tanks, three Newton 10" square dump chutes are installed on back of truck.
