There is a mention on Page 15 of the Newcastle CBD Heritage Study (of April 1988): (visit link)
"Two storey brick commercial building. Developed by A.A. Co. following removal of coal railway."

The Year, and words are a dusty yellow colour, being rather thin (in character), on dark red/brown brick shoulder of the facade above the gray framed windows. Between the windows are steel struts to help support the awning over the entrance to Frontline Hobbies store on ground floor.
