"Working with Belfast City Council and Sustrans, Totalis has recently installed new signage for a part of the National Cycle Network route 99, linking the main route along Strangford Lough and the Comber Greenway with a section through Titanic Quarter.
As part of these works, Totalis installed a new Portrait Bench adjacent to the SS Nomadic visitor attraction in Titanic Quarter.
The Sustrans Portrait Bench series is a UK wide public art project which is unique to each area and comprises of a wooden bench with three full sized silhouettes of people who have made a relevant contribution to the local community, culture or history. When complete there will be a national collection of over 230 portraits in 79 locations.
In this instance the characters chosen were of a shipyard worker who helped build the Nomadic, a French waiter who served on the Nomadic and Charlie Chaplin, possibly her most famous passenger."
