"Neuscharfeneck ist die Ruine einer Burg im Pfälzerwald. Sie liegt im Flemlinger Wald östlich von Ramberg und Dernbach und ist als Denkmalzone von Flemlingen gelistet.
Geographische Lage:
Die Ruine der Höhenburg erhebt sich im östlichen Teil des Pfälzerwalds in etwa 500 m Höhe auf dem westlichen Ausläufer des Kalkofenbergs.
Ganz in der Nähe liegt der Zimmer(manns)platz aus der Bauzeit der Burg, an dem die Landauer Hütte steht. Die Ruine ist über Waldwege und Wanderwege von dort, von der Passhöhe Drei Buchen oder von Dernbach her zu erreichen."
